Recently, Kohler Co., one of our customers, sought to make a switch to only NSF-certified products in their injection molding operation. Kohler Co. is a manufacturer of a well-known brand of plumbing fixtures. After contacting Slide products on their behalf, a meeting was set up to perform an inventory of the products being used in their manufacturing process. Slide NSF-certified substitutes were added to help them achieve their goal. Slide also provided sample products, technical information and support needed to make the transition easy.
As a result, Kohler Co. was able to eliminate four mold releases, one rust preventive and one mold cleaner by adding Slide NSF-certified products, which also contain no chlorinated solvents. The manufacturer was already using Slide’s NSF Category P1 Mold Cleaner 4 among other Slide products and is very happy with the results.
